Leftover wars

The Fridge is dying, and the new one will be delivered tomorrow…So I cleaned out the fridge and freezer and moved things to the big chest freezer in the basement and the garage fridge. I tossed a bunch of stuff out, but decided to eat a few of the leftovers in the fridge and freezer (rather than throw ’em out) yesterday evening..

I had a half portion of pasta with meat sauce, some Beef with Broccoli, a half a burrito (with hot sauce), and a single smoked polish sausage…

I think the Wops are fighting the Spics, and the Chinks are shelling both sides. I’m not sure which side the Polacks are fighting for Some has used napalm and maybe tactical nukes.   I dunno for sure. . But my innards are a battlefield wasteland.

OMFG

You’d think I’d know better.

Separates the adults from the children.

And the mature from the childish…..The boys from the Men (and yes, ladies, this even applies to you…especially as you grow older).

How you handle it shows your character. You can’t really hide from it, because the hiding also shows your character…you know and we know when you re wrong. Face up to it like an adult.

Mayor Adams may well be right

Paid for by folks working for Soros:

“Crowds on Demand” denies any involvement….

But the fact that there is a company (apparently more than one) that can and will provide a “crowd on demand” says a great deal about the truth of these protests. None are real, all are staged. One can usually tell by the pre-printed signs and banners…

Especially, I think the Leftish protests, or at least the protests for Leftish issues. They seem to believe that the size of the crowd somehow makes them more impressive and influential.

Not what you expect from Frat Boys

But, apparently, despite the image, there is a streak of patriotism in the Fraternity system:

Patriotic frat boys valiantly protected an American flag on the campus of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill even while being pelted by water bottles from pro-Palestine protestors.

Footage emerged on social media showing the group of male students from the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity holding onto the stars and stripes during a Tuesday protest. Pro-Palestine groups lobbed bottles of water at the group who clutched the flag as they were screamed at by masked protestors.

Maybe it was  a put up job, maybe they were really doing it. I dunno. But it does appear that they were protecting the flag.

The protesters who pull down the American Flag and put up a “Palestinian” flag? Yeah, they should be allowed to go to Gaza and live there. But since their loyalties are not to the US, they should not get any US money to go to school, either.

We thought we could do whatever we wanted and the police would protect us!

So the Pro-Palestine folks at UCLA were dismayed to find out that the police wre not gonna get involved in the violence between the protesters and the counter protesters until the cops had enough personnel on hand to handle the issue properly.

Sadly, it took about 2 hours to get the cops ready. The palestine folks had to deal with the opposing side themselves for that time

“The community needs to feel the police are protecting them, not enabling others to harm them,” Rebecca Husaini, chief of staff for the Muslim Public Affairs Council, said in a news conference

Several students who spoke during the news conference said they had to rely on each other, not the police, for support as they were attacked,

I guess they learned a hard lesson. The cops are there to protect the public, not the troublemakers. And they have no obligation to to protect anyone.

Question:

Are they gonna charge the folks they pulled out of the (trashed) buildings that were occupied by the Pro-Hamas protestors at Columbia and CUNY?

It appears that there are, literally, MILLIONS of dollars of damage done. Are the “Occupiers” gonna be forced to pay a share of the repair costs?

Are they gonna split that bill amongst the “Occupiers”? If not, why not? Who pays for the damage?

Re these kids gonna see some real jail time? (Or will their rich and influential parents intervene and help keep ’em out of jail and the court system?)

“Then Let them eat cake”

I guess when yer worth upwards of 2 billion dollars life looks pretty good all the way around.

And if yer so insulated from the rest of the population, then you can’t see the struggle caused by rising prices and stagnant wages.

So then everything looks rosy from up there, high on the mountaintop.

JP Morgan’s CEO has come under fire for claiming average Americans are in ‘pretty good shape’ financially, despite soaring inflation and stagnant interest rates crippling household budgets.

Now, I will say what I said to a complaining acquaintance, however: If you daily consume an $8.00 coffee and eat out for lunch ($20+), instead of brewing coffee at home or at work and bringing a lunch, then if you are broke you are part of the problem…And if you always have the latest smartphone and a new car and the latest styles then your life isn’t really that hard….

But to say that the average American is “pretty well off” is missing the issue and losing the big picture.
